Sugar + The Hi-Lows is the latest collaboration between noted singer songwriters Trent Dabbs + Amy Stroup, who between them have had over 100 songs on tv, film, & commercials including songs on Grey's Anatomy, Parenthood, Walmart Ads, eHarmony, and more. The latest collaboration sonically takes on the influences of the soul music of Marvin Gaye, Mavis Staples, The Chi-Lites, and others with an added modern twist. The result? A delicious new band called Sugar + the Hi-Lows.
We had the challenge of creating the new look that would separate the band from their solo efforts and bring to life the new sound of their collaboration. We landed on a clean, modern take on the 50s/60s, harkening the erawith type treatment and styling. Integrating value-added marketing, our team executed asuper sweet candy bar promo, which caught the eye of targeted press outlets such as USA Today and Billboard Magazine. Specially designed chocolate bars were delivered to radio outlets in time for the band’s Valentine’s Day release. (chocolate works every time)
